What counts as wind or storm damage on a roof?
Creased or lifted shingles with broken adhesive seals, missing tabs, torn flashing, and impact damage from falling limbs. Some of it is visible from the yard. Most of it isn't, which is why we inspect from the roof.
Do I have to tarp or patch before the claim settles?
Policies require reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and reasonable emergency measures like tarping are generally part of the covered loss. Keep receipts and photos of everything. We help you document mitigation correctly.
The carrier approved a small repair, but my shingles are discontinued. What now?
Matching and repairability are two of the most contested issues in storm claims. If a true repair can't restore the roof, that's a documentation argument, and we make it with product testing and manufacturer data where it applies.
How long does a storm claim take?
Simple claims can move in weeks. Contested or supplemented claims can take months. We give you a realistic timeline at the inspection and update it as the file moves.
What does it cost to hire GRJ for a storm claim?
